RDRS was established in February 1972 as the Bangladesh Field Program of the Geneva-based Lutheran World Federation/Department for World Service (LWF/DWS) to provide relief, rehabilitation and development assistance to the war-torn people of Bangladesh. In 1997, RDRS was localized and registered under the Trust Act as a national NGO in Bangladesh. The organization is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau and Microcredit Regulatory Authority in Bangladesh and is governed by a Board of Trustees.

Job Location: Lalmonirhat, Rangpur.
Qualifications Required:
- Age limit is 45 years
- At least 3 years experience in related field; Masters in any subject;
- Good interpersonal skills and relationship with others and communication skills;
- Writing reports through modern technology;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, both Bengali and English;
- Good knowledge of MS Office, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Willingness to travel extensively outside the RDRS operational area and ability to work independently and in a team;
- Age and education may be relaxed for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities of the post:
- Regularly visit all types of field activities like meetings, training, semi-structured or non-structured and reform activities, awareness activities;
- Prepare monthly work plan as per project requirement and implement time to time;
- Project planning for grassroots advocacy and linkages with community and local state and non-state authorities on maternal and newborn health systems;
- Project briefing and relationship building with the community and relevant stakeholders;
- Coordinating with District, Upazila and Union level LGIs, Government Health and other officials for smooth implementation of project activities;
- Liaising with other project staff in the area;
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, seminars, field days, folk music, and people's theater as needed;
- Support and assist the project team in preparing financial and narrative reports;
- Facilitate training, workshops, meetings, orientation and any other project activities as required;
- Prepare and capitalize various reports, best practices, case studies, quotes etc.
